Christopher Dippel, MFA ’98 and Claire Engel Dippel, MFA ’97 live in New York City with their two daughters: Charlotte, 5, and Maggie, 2. Chris is an adjunct assistant professor at Hofstra University and a founding member of the New York Neo-Futurists, winners of the 2006 New York IT Award for
Outstanding Performance Art Production, and Claire has her hand in the worlds of both literature and film working at a literary agency in Manhattan.
During Hofstra’s spring break the Claire and Chris decided the best place to vacation was Indiana, and the Dippel family made their way to the Lee Norvelle Theatre and Drama Center, touching base with David Muller, Bruce Burgun, Tom Shafer, Vicky Crowe, and Dale McFadden, bringing sunshine to what had been a very rainy day in Bloomington.
