IU Theater announces auditions for 2014 Indiana Festival Theatre Season

The Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance announces Audition dates for the 2014 IFT Repertory productions of Twelfth Night and The Miracle Worker. and the 2014 IFT musical production of Godspell.

All roles are paid positions.

Audition Dates for Twelfth Night and The Miracle Worker:
Auditions in A207 – Saturday, February 8, 2014 12:00 to 3:00PM
Callbacks A207 – Saturday, February 8, 2014 starting approximately at 4PM
Please prepare a single monologue of no more than 90 seconds for the general auditions.  Please bring 2 copies of your photo and resume.

Rehearsals:
Start approximately Tuesday, June 10
Tech Week starts Tuesday, July 1

Performances:
Saturday, July 5 thru Sunday, July 27

Audition Dates for Godspell:
Saturday, February 8, 2014 12:00 to 3:00PM
Auditions in Studio Theatre and Movement Studio
Please sign up for the Dance Auditions from Noon to 1PM and for a timeslot to sing from 1:00-3:00.  You must attend both auditions to be considered for a role.
Please prepare 16 to 32 measures of a song, no longer than 1 ½ minutes in length, in the style of Godspell.  Accompanist will be provided.  You must sing with the piano.  A cappella singing will not be permitted.  Questions:  contact George Pinney at pinneyg@indiana.edu.

Studio Theatre – Saturday, February 8 – Tentatively scheduled for 4PM

Rehearsals:
Start approximately Tuesday, May 20
Tech Week starts Thursday, June 5

Performances:
Monday, June 9 thru Sunday, June 29
